From Classroom to Community: Social Media for Educators

Are you a tutor, teaching resources seller or other educator who wants to grow an online presence? Do you often find yourself staring at a blank screen, not knowing what to post? Do you post regularly but feel like you're shouting into a void?

Then this one-hour webinar is exactly what you need!

Hosted by Abbie Stratford (@whynotlanguages) and Kate Clifton (@katelanguages and @iamkateclifton), this session will walk you through everything you need to feel confident posting consistently to the right people so you make genuine connections, grow an audience, and build your education business with ease.

Abbie has grown a community of nearly 50k followers on TikTok and has leveraged this to create a thriving tuition and resources business (all from her phone while she travels the world!). Kate has been running her own education business since 2017 and has grown communities of around 5k followers on one Instagram account and just over 1k in the space of a few months on her second Instagram account. She's experimented with other platforms over the years, building a Facebook group of around 5.5k people and a small but steadily growing presence on LinkedIn with a newsletter reaching 330 people every week. Even with these "small" numbers, Kate has sold over £215k worth of teaching resources and made many tens of thousands more in tuition and CPD income over the years, again all from her phone, but sadly not while travelling the world, as she works part-time around her young family!

During the session, Abbie and Kate will spill the beans on exactly what they've done to grow their online presence and build their businesses. From how they both post consistently, while juggling jobs, travel and family life, to coming up with ideas for posts that speak directly to your ideal client, to the pitfalls to avoid that will harm your growth and reach on social media... And they might even include a glimpse into some of their own less-than-perfect posts to prove that no one gets it right every time!

You will learn so much from joining the session live, and will have a chance to ask questions at the end, but replays will be available for anyone who can't make it on the day.
