Sell your first resource in a week - the results!

Jul 06, 2025

Our first ever challenge "Sell your first online resource in a week" has been an incredible success! I am blown away by the amazing resources that the participants have created and truly honoured to be able to share them with you here.

The challenge took place over 5 days, during which time we met online at 8pm every day and we went through how to create and sell your first online resource. I broke it down into manageable chunks each day and the results are below!

Participants all said a variation of the same thing - that this was something they'd thought about for a while, but that doing the challenge actually gave them the push to go ahead and upload something!

"Thanks again for your very valuable Challenge Week. I took a lot away from it! It took me some time, but I have uploaded the three resources. I would have still procrastinated over uploading them, if it wasn't for you!"

"Thanks again for all your help this week. It's definitely made me take the plunge to do this and press that 'publish now' button!"

"Thank you for this week, it was just what I needed to give me the push to do it!"

And here are the results of the challenge...

  • An AQA/Edexcel GCSE French Revision worksheet from MFLDawn - A brilliant worksheet that is designed as a revision resource and could be used independently, as a timed classwork task or for a cover lesson. Pupils can self assess or peer assess or it could be teacher marked as an assessment to spot knowledge gaps. Click here for details.
  • This fantastic transition lesson about German compound words from VirtuallyGerman - click here to purchase it and here for more from her shop.
  • Another great KS3 or even possible transition lesson on German music genres, shared by fbarringer and available here.
  • A lovely Arabic letters bingo sheet, shared by ouissem_touati, which is ideal for new learners of Arabic in KS2 or KS3. This would make a great worksheet for European Day of Languages, even for those who aren't teaching Arabic in schools, as a great introduction to Arabic letters. More details here.
  • This fabulous printable version of Olive Halsall's game Private Joke® which she has created just for MFL teachers this week! It's a perfect end of term activity to do with both primary and secondary students of any language. Click here for more details.
  • A wonderful KS4 French GCSE Edexcel picture task practice lesson on the topic of Lifestyle and Wellbeing/Physical Activities from La Petite Cagouille. The lesson clearly breaks down how to describe a photo in French for this topic, and the ideas can be transferred to any photo and any topic. Click here for details of this one.
  • This great reading comprehension for KS4 Spanish about celebrity culture from kcallaghan22 - a topic I'm sure many people are struggling with! Click here for more details.
